Self-esteem is one of the core components of the Mental Health indicators,the level and the changes of physical self-esteem directly affect self-esteem. Physical exercise has a positive effect on the physical self-esteem. Yoga is widely recognized in recent years, and have entered college to become a college student sports programs.53female college students from yoga training schools are the object of this study. The purpose is to study the impact of yoga on the physical self-esteem and the impact of different yoga exercise methods on different dimensions of physical self-esteem.The main findings are as follows:(1) After a month of yoga intervention, PSPP score and five dimensions of physical self-esteem all have improved, suggesting that yoga can improve physical self-esteem level.(2) Yoga exercises for improving the level of physical self-esteem has a very significant effect. Yoga exercises to improve physical self-worth, physical condition and sport competence has a very significant effect; for improving the physical attractiveness has a significant effect; has no significant effect in improving strength.(3) The yoga posture exercises and breathing exercises can significantly improve the physical self-worth, meditation exercises can improve the physical self-worth; The yoga posture exercises can significantly improve the sport competence, the breathing exercises can improve the sport competence; The yoga posture exercises, breathing exercises and meditation exercises can significantly improve the physical condition; The yoga posture exercises can significantly improve the physical attractiveness; The yoga posture exercises can significantly improve the strength, the breathing exercises. |
