Many needs often appear in the growing up of Middle School Students, which is an inevitable process for each individual. The appearance of needs accelerates Middle School Students’actions that are the ways and measures to meet the needs. However, in this process, with the influence and limitation from society, family, school and peers, conventional ways often can’t meet their needs, so smoking and other unconventional ways become their available methods. But as a "Problem behavior", Middle School Students’smoking doesn’t be accepted by society. So the students who smoke often be neglected, negated even marginalized. The author thinks it’s unfair for them. Because that many Middle School Students smoke is to get good feeling and biopsychospiritual balance, only different methods from others. Despite this, the author considers that smoking which is not been accepted also has meaning. Resilience has been expressed through a way different from conventional ways, which is one kind of resilience showing Middle School Students’force. Therefore, this research tries to display the deeper reasons and values hiding behind the smoking, and discusses the possible reasons for meeting needs with smoke, expecting to make small exploration to provide more active and effective guidance for their healthy growth.
