Research On The Education Investment In Pu Yang

Henan is a typical agricultural province, while Puyang is a less-developed city. Encouraged by the government’s priority to the development of education, educational undertaking in Puyang has been largely promoted and the amount of educational fund increased recently. However, the lack of educational fund is still the bottleneck that limits the development of education in Puyang. This thesis first takes the current situation of education undertaking in Puyang into study, then analyses the problems existing in the investment of educational fund, the total amount of educational fund, the allocation of educational fund in different areas, the expenditure for educational constructions and the average cost for every student in different areas. The problems are as follows:first, the educational fund does not receive due attention from Puyang’s government; second, the economic situation in Puyang is backward; third, the allocating system needs improvements and the execution of relevant law needs reinforcement.On the basis of analysis, this thesis offers some solutions to the problems. For example, the educational administration needs to realize the important role played by the investment of educational fund; more fund needs to be invested by developing the local economy and broadening the financial resources; the system of investing educational fund needs to be improved; more relevant laws and regulations needs to be proposed and carried out to ensure the justice and fair investment, to narrow the gap between different areas in the amount of the funds, to improve the educational situation and to promote the educational development in Puyang.The development of education needs the advances in a variety of aspects, one of which is the investment of educational fund. In addition, the advances in politics, economy and social structure are necessary. The writer of this thesis hopes to contribute to the development of our local education.
