| In the good environment of society, economy, policy and the background of higher education popularization, The Engineering and Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology has developed rapidly; but it inevitably exposes some problems and contradictions, such as guiding ideology needs to be clear, a more reasonable orientation needs to be determined, teaching quality needs to be improved, teachers structure needs to be adjusted, profession structure needs to be optimized, facing intense competition; This paper aims to constitute an appropriate strategy to solve these problems.In this paper, literature methods, survey interviews, empirical research and other methods are used, I have collected as much as possible correlative data of independent college development strategy studies; starts from the analysis of internal and external environment of The Engineering and Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology, through the analysis of macro environment and industry structure to find opportunities and threats; through the analysis of internal environment to find own strengths and weaknesses; then combines with the SWOT analysis and Porter’s five forces analysis to constitute and select sustainable development strategies of The Engineering and Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology; finally, this paper proposes the indemnification of strategy implementation.Through this research, It is advantageous to The Engineering and Technical College seizes the external opportunities and play its own advantages, to overcome the internal disadvantages and fully excavate own potentiality to turn disadvantage to advantage, to improve the quality of teaching and enhance the core competitiveness power, to train more qualified, competitive, influential applied talent to get well-known and reputation, to ensure the long-term survival and better development of The Engineering and Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology.I hope this paper can provide some theoretical basis for the development of state-owned Independent college by The Engineering and Technical College of Chengdu University of Technology Development Strategies Study. |
