Quantitative Analysis On The Defensive Technique’s Application Effect Of China In The2010Women’s Volleyball World Championships

In Volleyball, all the legal means which can prevent the ball from grounding on own court is defense. Chinese women’s volleyball team did bad performance in the2010Women’s Volleyball World Championships. This maybe relate to the team’s defensive technique’s application effect. Consequently, this paper take the effect performed in the2010Women’s Volleyball World Championships as the objects. Using the video analysis, mathematical statistics, comparative analysis and so on to analyze all the defensive technique’s application effect in the match.This article mainly from the receive, the attack reception, the block rebounds reception, the free ball reception and the block to contrast China with rival and win sets with loss sets of China’s defensive technique’s application effect. The conclusions are as follows:1. Receive:Chinese women’s volleyball team’s whole receive effect is better than rival’s. However, the effect of receiving the floating ball is the worst, the situation that can’t organized attack is more. The third round’s receive effect is the worst. Zhou Suhong’s receive effect is the best, while the lebro Zhang Xian’s performance is unstable.2. The attack reception:Chinese women’s volleyball team’s whole rate of perfect pass is relatively low, while the rate of error is relatively high. The effect of receiving the attack is the best when there’s no block. Zhang Xian and Li Juan’s effect of dig the spiked ball is not satisfactory. In the way of dig the spiked ball, Chinese women’s volleyball team uses the way which the hit-point is on the side of the body is more frequently, but the errors in defending the first round attack are more than defending the counter-attack.3. The block rebounds reception:When China received the block rebounds, the rate of no one receiving the ball and the error is over50%. The situation of losing points is more serious. The team members’ effect is generally unstable. If the front row attack is blocked, the rate of can’t attack in any way, the rate of no one dig and the rate of error is more high. Using the digging in low position and positive digging with two hands’effect are relatively better.4. The free ball reception:In the win sets, Chinese women’s volleyball team did worse than the loss sets at Position1,2,5. Zhang Xian’s effect of digging the free ball is satisfactory, while Ma Yunwen’s total number of digging the free ball is more but unsatisfactory. In the win sets, the rate of using of positive digging with two hands is apparently high than the loss sets.5. Block:China’s whoie effect of blocking is bolter. However, the block out is a little more when defending the first round attack. The rate of blocking in in the win sets is higher than the loss sets, while the rate of blocking out in the win sets is higher than the loss sets either. The effect of blocking rival’s Position3’s attack is much better. The effect of blocking rival’s fast offence is better than power attack, while in the process of first round attack the effect of blocking is worse than the process of the counter-attack. Zhang Xian’s effect of digging in the process of counter-attack is better than the first round attack’s. Chinese women’s volleyball team mainly used the digging on the side of the body, digging on the ground and passing positive with two hands. And the effect is more satisfaction. The frequency of using digging positive with two hands is relatively little, but the effect is much better.
