A Research On The Status Of Foreign Players In The CBA League And The Professional Use Countermeasures To The League

It has been16years since the CBA League introduced foreign basketball players. Up to now, there are over400appearing on the court and they play a very important role in proceeding the professionalization of Chinese Professional Basketball. And they make special contributions to the development of Chinese basketball career. Their performance has been recongnized by more and more people. They are playing more and more important roles in the League and club. What we should be aware of is that the introducing and using of foreign players is just in its infancy, Although we have gained some success, we also suffered some setbacks. There still exists some problems during this process. Form these points, the article makes a research on the application of foreign players in the CBA League. Through analyzing the background of introducing and application of foreign basketball players during the16seasons, The author uses documents-data method, videos method, mathematical statistics and logical analysis methods, and tries to discuss the influence of using foreign players in the development of Chinese Basketball Professional League. And the author tries to find the solutions to the contradictions between using foreign players and developing young Chinese players.
