Research On Graduate Students’Meaning Of Life And Life Education

In recent years, there are more and more news about the graduate students’ suicide, the contempt of life behavior aroused the attention of the social people from all walks. Most suicides, lead a thought that there is no meaning of life, so the lack of meaning in life is the primary cause for the graduate students suicide. Therefore, the graduate student’s life education has become a hot topic. How to effectively implement life education of post graduates, and improve their life feeling, has become an important task of education management. This paper focus on the core of the meaning of life and use empirical method to explore the influence factors of the meaning of life and both social support and time management the influence of the meaning of life in order to provide the theory basis for the graduate students’ life provides a little idea and promote the development of graduate student.After surveying621graduate students, this paper has found that:1. Overall, the graduate student of the meaning of life feeling in the intermediate level. 2. There is significant difference between the students who have work experience and those who don’t have work experience. The students who have work experience get higher score on the meaning of life than the students who don’t have work experience. The graduate students of Humanities social science get higher score on the meaning of life than that of the graduate students of institute of technology, agriculture, forestry, and medical. From the master graduate student of urban and rural areas were significantly higher town of master graduate student, and from the master graduate student of rural and urban score difference was not significant. There is no significant difference on other demographic variables.3.Social support, time management both have positive correlation with the meaning of life, and both predict the meaning of life; Social support has a moderating effect between the time management and the meaning of life.According to the results of the survey, this paper proposed universities should pay attention to the life-education of the graduate student, and universities can do variety about the life-education. Furthermore, universities should strengthen the professional teachers’team construction and pay attention to mentor’s role in graduate’s life education. The meaning of life is the core of life education, universities can strengthen social support network, improve the group time management skills, promote their self value experience, so as to enhance the graduate student life feeling.
