| Basktetball has been hundred years of its history which has not only been as an official international competition in sports, also has become one of the most popular sports activities in the public.Women’s World Basketball Championship is one of the world’s top basketball games, which is the best time to demonstrate each counties basketballs capability. It is not difficult to imagine that will draw world’s attention because that reflects the overall level of most countries, specially, the development of women’s basketball in the world. In the16th Women’s World Basketball Championship, it is easy to see that is still a large gap between the Chinese team and teams in Europe and America which exposed several problems in Chinese team, one of the main factors is the ability to score is not strong.This study will focus on scoring ability between the Chinese Women s team and the opponents in this Championship, finding the reason why the team lost the games, which will make suggestions how to solve the problems with the scientic and reasonable in order that help the Chinese women s basketball team achieve the "Sports Power" dream as soon as possibleThis paper used the literature and data, video observation statistics, expert interviews, statistics and the other research methods to compare and analyse the offensive ability to score with the Chinese Women s team and the opponents, which will find out our team s strengths and shortcomings in order to provide a reference with improving the score ability of Chinese Womens Basketball teamThe results show that1. Chinese team is still relatively young team with an average age of25.58years old and the starting lineup was the youngest team,but Chinese team has an absolute height advantage with an average height of186.17cm. In terms of the playing time, there is huge differences between starting five players and the substitutes among the teams, the starting five players in Chinese team got much longer playing time than the opponents, getting score75.15%of total score, but the opponents just got46.745%. There were significantly different between Chinese team and the opponents in the starting players and substitutes staffing and adjustments.2. According to score ability in the shooting, the Chinese team in the free throw percentage and3-point score and the rate are higher than rivals, but in2-points are not as good as rivals.From the ability to score in the different positions, the forward in Chinese team were able to compete with their rivals, the guard and center with the rival team is significantly different. From the different shooting area,Chinese team in the long-range shooting ability to score was stronger than the opponents, but it is necessary to strengthen the close-range and mid-range shooting.In the ability of free throw, the Chinese team is better than the rivals, but the every positions were not balanced in this aspect.3. In the situation of the weak against or non-combat, Chinese team s shooting numbers were much more than the opponents, but the hit rates were lower. Themain way to score is the place jumper in Chinese women’s basketball team. In terms of hit rate in breaking through the shooting, attacking the basket, basket score were higher than the opponents, but fewer shots.
