In the new age, our country attached great importance to vocational and technicaleducation as well as had high expectations. As the English teachers of vocational schools, weshould transform idea, pay attention to the teaching practice and teaching methods. This paperis about how to raise student’s initiative, enthusiasm, inquire into how to carry on theinnovation of English classroom teaching, to improve the interests of the students ofvocational schools on English learning and the practical ability. Most of the current vocationalschool students are poor in English,which made the students lack of a strong interest andlearning motivation in learning. And the English teachers’ teaching method are single and old.Through the surveys there are some findings: the secondary vocational school students’English level, especially in listening and speaking, is very inadequate, which is our secondaryvocational English teachers’ biggest problem. The reform of traditional teaching model of oralEnglish to improve oral English teaching level and enhance the effectiveness of oral Englishteaching is the only way. And understanding the students’ oral English learning situation andgrasping the students’ oral English learning motivation are the main job.The survey canobjectively reflect the actual situation of the students in a certain extent. And Englishlanguage is not only an important objective of English teaching, it is also an essential medium.English teachers’ questioning in classroom discourse form, content and quality affects allaspects of language teaching. What is the effective classroom questioning and how to conducteffective questioning, was a vocational school English teacher should be concerned.Through comprehensive analysis and induction, this paper proposes the effectivepromotion of vocational school English classroom management in the students, teachers ofsecondary vocational schools, professional and curriculum setting and other aspects. Like thetask based teaching method can be very effective to train the student to analyze the question.It can not only train the students ’independent thinking and creative thinking, but also makethe student have interest in English by arousing students’ positive thinking.Thereforetask-based teaching is an effective teaching method.
