The number of university students is in the continuous growth, at the same time, the number of university students crime is also in constant increase. Although the number of university students crime showed a rising trend, criminal students belong to individual phenomenon relative to the overall number of university students. University students crime, overall, have both the diversity, such as various types of crime, complex subjects of crime, and the regularity, such as the time, place and object of crime. If we master these aspects, we can understand the university students crime more in-depth.The second chapter mainly expounds the cause of the university students crime. University students crime is the result of many factors, such as family factors, social factors, scholastic factors and personal factors. But from the angle of school, the defects of school education and management are the important factors in university student crime. On the management side, the scale is out of line with the management because of college expansion. The management system is not perfect. The quality of management personnel need to be raised. In education, the university education for freshmen is not perfect. Moral and legal education is weak and psychological health education lags behind. These deficiencies of management and education are the important reasons for university student crime.The third chapter put foward the preventive countermeasures of the university students crime from the school prevention angle. The school can prevent crime from three aspects, education, management and the construction of campus culture. In education, school should strengthen the entrance education of the frsshmen, the psychological health education, the moral and legal education. In management, school should strengthen the construction of system, establish scientific and professional management team, exert the function of student organizations, improve the level of management. In tne construction of campus culture, school should strengthen the construction of spiritual and material culture to express the educational function.
