This not only benefits thedevelopment demand for sports and education talents, but also corresponds to interiordemand for talents cultivation.Nowadays, knowledge economy development is the main stream and filled withfull of challenges and competitions. So the development of sports talents also need toaccords with time development demand. The requirements for sports man are not onlylimited to getting more golden medals, but to their all-round development which isequal to enhance their comprehensive qualities. The competition of sports reservetalents has already turned to the competition of combination of sports trainingscientific systematization and education generalization. The development level ofsports and its status in international sports area will lie on the comprehensive qualityof sports talents. Our Party’s Seventeenth of Sixth Plenary Session has issued a themewith “Culture Innovation and Development”. Peng Liu----Director of GeneralAdministration of Sport of China, has confirmed the importance of all-roundimprovement of our sports men resource in the meeting of plenary session in2012.Sports men are the core resource of sports talents and can determine the developmentand achievement they can reach. This also can bring us good solutions for reservesports talents source and future. Education level decides the future of high-level sportsmen’s sustainable development, so that the mode of “the combination of sports andeducation” has a significant meaning for the development of our sports career.We can tell easily that the three grade training mode of “Pyramid”, which wehave used from longtime ago till now, has cultivated many world champions form thequantity of medals we go in the Olympics games held in Sydney, Athens and Beijing.That mode once made our sports career developed with a dramatic speed. However,with the economy changing form planned one to market one, three grade trainingform cannot apply to the new development demand and has already showed out manyproblems. This research provided a deeper explanation to the mode of “thecombination of sports and education” with literature study, information researchmethod, logic analysis, comparative analysis, etc. Through the comparison with mode “Pyramid”, we have confirmed the superiority of “the combination of sports andeducation”. Unluckily, the base of this mode is still not strong enough in our countrynow. We are still facing the problems such as shortage of reserve sports talents, lowercomprehensive sports men qualities, lacking of systematic management, and theimbalance of “sports system” and “education system”, etc. With those problems, wepromote to go on improving quality-oriented education, scientifically identifyingcultivation concept and direction. We will adopt the method of combination of“science education”,“culture education” and “politics education” This research alsoexplained how to establish scientific management system, how to perfect and insistnationwide system and how to combine “state-control” and”community-control” torealize “the combination of sports and education”. This will provide a theory basis forthe new era’s research in this aspect. Meanwhile, this will also provide goodreferences for the sports career innovation of talents cultivation methods for ourcountry.In a word, golden medal is not the only criteria for “the combination of sportsand education”. The realization of this mode is a long term systematic program andfor sure will encounter some difficulties in the growing progress. The realization of italso needs to get helps from sports and education related systems, departments orcompanies to make good balances among them. The core value of “the combinationof sports and education” is the innovation of talents cultivation method---the changefrom “three grade training” mode to “the combination of sports and education”. Withthis basis, we studied which kind of “the combination of sports and education”method we need and how to make it come true.
