Alternative Frameworks refers to be the personal view and understanding of students which is different from scientific concepts. Alternative Frameworks is prevalent in the students, it can’t be neglected because it produce negative influence to study. By literature, questionnaire, personal interview, classroom observation, this article investigats the chemical alternative frameworks of the students, analysis their causes, and puts forward some appropriate recommendations of concept diversion in teaching.Through the study we find that alternative Frameworks of the rural secondary school students’concepts are be ubiquitous. The main causes of Alternative Frameworks are:the lack of daily experience, inappropriate analogical reasoning, learning scientific conception by rote; teaching in a wrong way, the traditional teaching which ignores the penetration of scientific methods and attitudes, the similar Alternative Frameworks of teachers; the unilateral examples in textbooks; and misleading by media.The research puts forward to some instructional strategies, such as cognitive conflicts and conceptual graphs etc, to promote the students’conceptual change. In order to promote Alternative Frameworks of students into scientific concept, we must look into the characteristics and causes of the students’Alternative Frameworks, consider of the students’ cognitive style, motivation, teaching methods, learning atmosphere, choose the appropriate strategy and take integrated use of them in teaching practice.
