ObjectiveThis paper discusses baduanjin exercise on the influence of old people’ s balance function,attempting from elderly gait, static balance, muscle strength of lower limbs and waistmuscle strength test.MethodSelecting60healthy old people as the research object, which include thebaduanjin exercise30people (men and women are each15) for the experimental groupand the other30(men and women are each15)as control group,never practicingbaduanjin in other projects.The experiment requires exercise period of6months,3~5times in a week, each time for60minutes or more, six times in a time, respectively, beforethe experiment, three months, six months later, two groups of older adults have staticbalance tests, gait tests, muscle strength of lower limbs and waist and abdomen muscletests. Through the analysis and comparison of the two groups of testing result indifferences, determine baduanjin on the influence of the balance ability.Results(1) The effect of baduanjin exercise on the old ’s static balance ability: the two groups ofthe before-after maximal swing, rectangular area, peripheral area,showed a significantdifference; About the left-right maximum swing and trajectory length were no obviousdifference; overall, the effect of six months was stronger than that of three months. Theeye-opened condition and the eye-closed condition in the elderly static balance functionwas significantly different effects, especially before-after maximal swing.(2) The effect ofbaduanjin exercise on the influence of the old gait index: The effect of baduanjin exerciseon the influence of the old gait index: the scores and the right step length of gait indexsshowed a significant difference, the left step length showed a very significant difference;Average stride length, left-right feet support time and related variation had no obviousdifference. The effect of six months was stronger than that of three months. And theexperimental group was greater than the control group.(3)The effect of baduanjin exercisefor the elderly in muscle strength of lower limbs, waist and abdomen muscle strength:muscle strength of lower limbs and abdominal muscle showed a significant difference;Low back muscle strength was no significant difference. The effect of baduanjin exerciseto the same sex, the same age older muscle strength of lower limbs, waist muscle strengthshowed good effect, especially for male and female muscle strength of lower limbs,abdominal muscle. The effect of six months was stronger than that of three months.(4)Theexperimental group and the control group dynamic and static balance, gait and muscle strength index increased with age and showed a downward trend. Especially the elderlycontrol group dynamic and static balance function and muscle strength index growingalong with the age decline rate.(5) The effect of baduanjin exercise to the same gender, thesame age of older static balance index, gait index, and muscle strength of lower limbs andwaist and abdomen muscle strength contrast display that the experimental group dynamicand static balance index is better than the control group, and the strength is larger.Conclusions(1)The long-term baduanjin exercise can obviously improve the dynamic and static balanceability of the elderly.(2) Enhance the old lower limbs and lumbar abdomen musclestrength, improve the old people in the direction of the body balance and control ability,improve the elderly gait stability, should baduanjin improve balance ability be one of theold mechanism.
