Modern scientific research shows that: early childhood education is the startingpoint of the individual and the foundation of education projects. Primary education,secondary education and at all levels of education are built on this basis.It is based onthe basis. In the long,"Learning to Live" pointed out that early childhood education ispre-conditions of education policy and cultural policy, it is also one of the mainobjectives of education policy.Since the early20th century, especially since the60’s,around the world increasing attention on early childhood education for the importantrole of promoting social development and accelerate the development of earlychildhood education. Many domestic and international studies show that quality ofearly childhood education is directly related to the level of early childhood teachers.High and low quality of teachers in large part by their own teacher educationsystem.Therefore, more countries in the world pay more attention to the kindergartenteacher education. Construction of a complete set of early childhood teacher trainingsystem has become an important issue of reform.Because of its political, economic, cultural and other more developed of NewYork State, the level of development of early childhood teacher education isrepresentative in the United States.while New York State Childhood Education alsohas its own characteristics. Especially in the21st century, the federal government andNew York State Government is highly concerned the reform of early childhoodteacher education. In order for the K-12-year-old children better education andconservation, the federal government and New York State Government Carried out aseries of reforms to promote the development of state early childhood teachereducation.The paper attempts to analysis early childhood teacher education reform onpre-service education, entry education, in-service training from three aspect.It is alsoattempts to investigate the main features of early childhood teacher education reformof New York State, reform of the main problems and enlightenment. This article is divided into six chapters, the first chapter is an introduction,including topics reason, the basic definition, literature review and research methods.Second chapter is the history of early childhood teacher education in the New YorkState.Chapter three is the background of preschool teacher education reform of NewYork State.Chapter four is the reform on early teacher education pre-service in NewYork State. Including: specification of kindergarten teacher education standards;improve child care qualifications for teachers; regulate the registration andcertification of kindergarten teachers; attention to the induction of new teachers.Chapter five is in-service childhood teachers for the New York State EducationReform and beginning teacher induction program. Chapter six is the main featuresand the main problems of early childhood teacher education reform in New YorkState also enlightenment for China.
