Police Vocational College Students Ideological And Political Education Research

The Police Vocational Education in China has developed rapidly, since the founding of New China, especially since the reform and opening up. Both the number of police vocational college, or the number of students at the school have made a considerable scale. However, with the expansion of the enrolment scale and the reform of employment system, the structure of the students and students’ thought politics quality of the police college students have been great changes. And with its own characteristics of vocational education for police officers, the students’ ideological and political education of police vocational college presents a serious challenge. Although a lot of effort and positive results have been made, there are still a variety of problems in the current ideological and political education of students in police vocational college.The purpose of this thesis is to make further exploring into the basic meaning of the ideological and political education of students in police vocational college, to sum up the achievements and find out the problems, and further analyze the objective and subjective reasons, finally to put forward the strategy of resolving these problems. This thesis altogether divides into four parts:The first part details the development situation and its basic characteristics of the Chinese police vocational education and its students’ ideological and political education. This part also provides the definition of the concepts related about the police vocational education and students’ ideological and political education, which is sound and necessary basis prepared for the following research.The second part mainly analyses the achievements and the problems of the ideological and political education of police college, and further analysis of the objective and subjective reasons for these problems by studying the status quo of students’ ideological and political education of police vocational college in China.The third part, the necessity to strengthen and improve the students’ ideological and political education of police vocational has emphasized buy systematically analyzing the education policy, the economic and social development, and the need of reformation and development of Chinese police vocational education.In the fourth part, we put forward the strategies to further strengthen and improve the students’ ideological and political education of police vocational college. Our works are achieved from the aspects of clearing guiding ideology, enhancing pertinence, expanding the work way, strengthening guarantee measure and so on.
