Man’s life is a constant process of choice, from occupation selection, marriagechoice, to food choices, goods choices. The higher the degree of civilization in asociety, the higher the degree of freedom of choice. If we make the wrong choice, wehave the opportunities to correct the mistakes. For example, if we choose the wronggoods that we donot like or unwanted, we can return it. Then if the students choosethe wrong the specialized subject, how to deal with it.According to the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China issued"Regulations of student management in Universities" spirit, the universities introducein succession the policy of undergraduates rechoosing the specialized subject. Theundergraduates who choose the specialized subject they donot like or benot qualifiedhave an opportunity to rechoose.Also the policy reflects the college’s newmanagement ideas that the students is the first important.This paper through the analysis of the colleges’ policy of undergraduaterechoosing the specialized subject, and of the status of the undergraduate rechoosingthe specialized subject, analyse the unreasonable points of the policy and the majorproblems in the process of. rechoosing the specialized subject.The policy has manylimits,the standard is too high.The students in the process of rechoosing have theblindness,for example,follow the trend,pursue the high rate of employment.Mainreason is that our policies of voluntary choise in the college entrance examination andthe college admission system have unreasonable factors.For instance,the universitymanagement system is rigid, our professional system is too narrow, and the highschool students have the blindness when they filled the volunteer form.Students in theselection of the specialized subject mainly consider the scores as the basis of thechoise, rather than their interest, which leads to a specialized subject choicealienation.The education system and other systems limitations restrict the freedom ofthe students choosing the specialized subject.According to the problems andreasons,we give the strategies that perfect the policy of rechoosing specializedsubject:the high school should guide the students choose the specialized subject andmake the students understand each specialized subject intension; the universitiesshould recruit students by large categories,and strengthen the professional ideologicaleducation and occupation planning education, making the students understand correctly the specialized subject they are studying; in view of the actual situation ofthe universities, make reasonable policy of rechoosing the specialized subject, ensurethe students to rechoose the specialized subject equitably.The colleges anduniversities should actively optimizing specialty structure, improve teaching,exploredifferent training modes,which give learning opportunities to the students who cannotrechoose the specialized subject.
