The Research On The Competency Model Setting And Application On Students’Leaders In MBA Program Of S Business School

With the rapid development of economy and modernization, the related knowledge of competency becomes more and more popular among the enterprises; likewise, the application of competency model is widely accepted by the famous companies, organizations, and government departments in recruitment, on-the-job training and performance prediction.This dissertation was written under the background of MBA Program in S Business School, combining with working experience of the puzzles and difficulties in daily work, as well as the deversified characters of MBA students. In this dissertation, a mixed methodology was deployed. Some research tools, Behavioral Event Interview (BEI), Questionnaire Survey and Delphi Method were used to explore the effectiveness of MBA student leaders’ competency and model-settingAs the result, the dissertation finally found out that the competency model of MBA students’leaders consisted of two dimensions, which were named personal qualities and management of students’affairs. Besides the explanation of the inner-relationship among the two dimensions, the dissertation also implied the application of competency model on the future practical work, along with its potential value and donation on the student leaders’ selection, training and cultivation.
