The Study Of The Campus Sports Culture Construction Of Colleges And Universitie In Qinhuangdao

Culture is the complex whole which includes material and spiritual devclopment of human society. Sports culture is a brilliant form of culture which went through a long and gradual process, and it roughly involves two aspects:material culture and spiritual culture. The former includes physical quality, sports equipment, sports products and etc. The latter includes sports knowledge, technology, organization and system, as well as ideology culture. Sports culture can reflect characteristics of an age, a nation and a country, and can standardize the sports behaviors of the people and influence the values of them. Sports culture not only can satisfy people’s physical health and spiritual needs, but also can reflect some kind of social needs. While perfecting itself, campus sports culture fulfills interconnection and fusion with other forms of campus culture and enriches the contents. Colorful campus sports culture can dig out the students’potential, improve their intelligence and ability, and it functions in students’behaviours, psychology ideology and belief from the perspectives of education, aesthetics and socialzation. Colleges and universities, as a cradle of fostering and modeling high qualified talents, serve as an emblem of knowledge and culture. Enhancing the campus sports culture construction in colleges and universities helps a lot in multi-dimensional functions, in comprehensive educational policy and in cultivating circumstances and teaching efficiency. Constructing a scientific and rational campus sports culture in colleges and universities can broaden the channels of cultivating talents, can boost quality education. Qinhuangdao is a beautiful seaside city. Under the guidance of strategy " Making a sports city", people from all walks of life go in for various kinds of sports activities. College and universiti students, to some extent, are exposed to such a regional sports culture. The present status of the campus sports culture of colleges and universities in Qinhuangdao is not satisfying, so it’s indispensable to do some research in this aspect.The thesis aims to analyse the status quo and development of the campus sports culture of colleges and universities in Qinhuangdao. The literature method, investigation method, observation method and statistics method are employed in this study. In the study, the writer, from the outside to the inside, analyses the four levels:sports material culture construction, sports system culture construction, sports behaviour culture construction and sports spirit culture construction.In the study, it is found that there exist some problems in the campus sports culture of colleges and universities in Qinhuangdao. They are material culture construction lagging behind, system culture construction formalizing, behavior culture construction existing blindness, spirit culture construction. In the respect of limits to the delepoment, it can be summarized into three pairs of contradiction:the contradictions between subjective understanding and practical action, between finance shortage and the demand from the main body, indifferent consciousness and practical ability. Finally, according to the three kinds of relationships in the campus sports culture of colleges and universities, namely, the relationships between the need of cultural main body and our society, between external intervention and the subjective initiative of the main body, between traditional sports culture and the development of the times, the writer, from the four levels of material, system, behaviourand spirit, raises the blueprint of the campus sports culture of colleges and universities in Qinhuangdao.In the study, it is found that great progress has been made in physical education, extracurricular athletics, various athlrtic contests, sports teams, and etc and the students have received better instructions in their sports knowledge, sports marality and sports skills, which are of great help to the campus sports culture constrcution; meanwhile, there exist some problems. The study is designed to reform and improve the campus sports culture constrcution of colleges and universities in Qinhuangdao, in the hope of realizing the goals of comprhensive education and bettering the university educational environment. The study is of great significance in reality and in theory.
