Urbanization is an inevitable way of the social and economicdevelopment for a district and a country."By the quickening process ofagricultural productive power and industrialize, the development of citifygradually mature in our country and we should carry out citify strategy asfar as possible." is pointed in " the Advice of National Economic andSocial Development of the Tenth Five Years Plan Set by the CentralCommittee of the Communist Party of China." The seventh conference ofthe Communist Party clearly pointed out that go tropical Chineseurbanized path. Carrying out the strategy of urbanization is a systematicproject including industrial transference, population floating, institutionreformation and the rearrangement of public service in education,employment and medical service etc....Urbanization construction brought great changes to the economicand social development of Pastoral area. It certainly facilitates thechanges of value of life and education and certainly relates to herdsman’sfamily and series of problems about children’s education. But in theprocess of urbanization, pushed by the project of immigrant of primitiveherdsmen, it is clearly weak in concern and research of Mongolian familyeducation in this special pastoral area. As for this problem, on-the-spotinvestigation, this article mainly analyzes the current situation andproblems existing in Mongolian family education and gives somesuggestions and wishes to encourage pastoral educational career andprovides some references to scientific development.It made pastoral family education in the background of"urbanization", the research chose eight pastoral towns of Inner Mongoliaand made a research in every detail and particular on the spot. It shows usin the process of urbanization, the family education concept, familyposition, family structure,the content of family education, family educational function changed greatly in these five aspects in pastoralMongolian family education. It had many problems like: lack of mainbody of family education, parents’ responsibility uncertainness, familyeducational expense increase, function of family education weak. As forthese problems, the paper analyses the reason from three aspects: family,school and society and gives some advices to family, school, educationsystem and to society.
