Analysis Of Attack And Defense Ability Of The Point Guard In CUBS(North Region) During2010-2011

"Modern basketball was invented by James Naismith in1891, a P.E. teacher of theMassachusetts Springfield city ymca cadres training school." Basketball was introduced intoChina at the end of the19th century, it became popular first in school. Along with our countryrapid social and economic development, the number of universities in China reached morethan1600, and more than1000students. Then a large number of universities paied greatattention to this game, created high level basketball teams and held matches. In thisbackground, Chinese college students man basketball premier league became a vital platformof cultivating talents for the development of China basketball course.This paper mainly analyzed the data of the starting point guard from eight team in northregion of the College students’ man basketball premier league in2011-2012by the researchmethod such as Video Observation Method、Mathematical Statistics Method、LogicalReasoning and Expert Interview Method. Finally find out the gaps and analyzes its reason.We find out that there are still more space to promote for the point guard in China through thereview and analysis. The point guard in CUBS should have a clear understanding and accuratepositioning of The strength of the current situation of itself. From their own characteristics,explore effectively targeted training method and means when playing its original advantage atthe same time. In the view of the Chinese basketball long-term development, we have to payattention to the backup talents of the echelon construction for improving and developing theexcellent point guard. This is the key part to improve the overall level of our country CBAleague and solve the problem of defense weak of Chinese men ’s basketball team organization.
