| Theme exploring activities as experiment course are now undertaken in the kindergartens in China. As the research object the Xia men Experiment Kindergarten (XSK) has taken TEA as its core course for ten years and set up a course frame of TEA with the characteristics of diversification and intelligence especially for kindergarten. However as the most difficult part in the course frame the evaluation system is still weak. The evaluation system for learning to kindergarteners keeps always the difficult part in the education research and what we lack for the research are forerunners and supervisors. How to observe and understand the kindergarteners, how to take advanced suitable measures, and then how to improve the efficiency of education for teachers in the practice, remain key question in the reform of course. On the one hand this research can help teachers examine and summarize the experience in the education practice, and on the other hand it can promote the development of TEA course through practice.In2008taking this evaluation system as core of this challengeable and forward-looking research work XSK successfully applied for the research project by the city administration. In the research in the past three years the learning target of kindergarteners, evaluation index, evaluation methods as well as evaluation results for this diversified and intelligent TEA have been deeply studied and analyzed based on the following research methods like activity study, observation and case study. Based on the real behavior of kindergarteners and their evaluation results in the running of activities this research concentrates on the setting up evaluation methods and ways of learning for kindergarteners during the practice in diversified and pluralistic TEA. Photos taking during the activities, detailed description and the data comparison of results before and after TEA are used to record the actual learning process as well as scenes of TEA. The basic teaching model with characteristics of intersection and integration of learning process and evaluation process is thereby built. In this model a new evaluation paradigm is set great value upon. The theory of "Evaluation for Education" from educator Feng Xiaoxia was thereby applied in the practice and it led to an organic combination of learning process and evaluation process and promotion from each other. For the evaluation system of TEA innovation potential embodied in this research through setting of curriculum situation, making curriculum in detailed process and individualization. Functions like diagnosis, guidance, instruction, motivation belonging to evaluation of development process and factual evaluation are working very well in this research work. The research contributes not only to the comprehensive development of kindergarteners, but also to the effective lifting of the capacity of observation as well as understanding the kindergarteners for teachers. So it is very meaningful in the supplement to the curriculum in kindergarten, specialized development of teachers and promotion of sustainable development of kindergarten. |
