In the human society, gender is one of the most basic classification. Male and female ingender roles according to its behavior under separate holding different expectations, thespecification, including a variety of gift between the sexes, qualities and interests. Recently ahot research point of view, will carry out college students’ personality education research,explores the ideal personality of college students model point of view from the perspective ofgender role types.As the relatively independent social women, college-aged students musthave its own features in the aspect of sports lifestyle. The discussion, on the college-agedwomen’s sports participation under the genders vision, reveals their state in life and its impacton their sports participation.The paper adopts literature, logic analysis, questionnaire surveys, mathematical statisticsand so on. Starting from gender roles mode proposed by Bem, the paper divides the subjectsinto four type groups---masculine,feminine, androgyny and undifferentiated, based ondifferent combinitions of typical male and female qualities. Through the DSRI,compiled byQian Mingyi in the department of psychology in Peking University, the paper makes a test on400female undergraduates in North University of China and explores the relationshipbetween their gender roles and sports participation, which not only provides the evidence forfemale undergraduates’ sports participation under the social gender vision but enriches relatedstuty.The result is as follows: the androgyny makes up a large number, and theundifferentiated is next, followed by the feminine and the masculine, among which theandrogyny is most likely to participate in sports,then the undifferentiated; the femaleundergraduates have a clear idea of the point in physical exercise, and their main sportsdemands are to boost helath, to recreate and lose weight; female undergraduates select mainlysports venues on campus, most of whom participate in after-class sports activities more or less each week, but short in time and not effective; the female undergraduates have not developedgood physical awareness and habits; there lack professional mentors, sports venues,equipments and facilities.
