The new curriculum reformation has been carried out for ten years, The use of theninth-grade Chemistry textbook by People’s Education Press(2001)has achieved a goodeffect. It makes student’s study way to get a huge change but also student-centeredclassroom occupies the main position. With curriculum standards (2011edition) issuedformally, the ninth-grade Chemistry textbook has also been adjusted accordingly, whichcould adapt to the curriculum reform further. What changes the new textbook and the oldversion have? After are Comparison of the system structure and the content of thecourse, which include expression of system structure, the creation of scenarios, scientificinquiry, Finally I draws the conclusion and make suggestion of using nine gradechemistry textbook,At the same time chemical educators can grasp changes in thetextbook.Based on the comparative analysis of the two version of the ninth grade chemistrytextbook, I hope to help the educators to understand the changes in chemical textbookand clear the development direction of textbooks. and provide some reference suggestionfor the ninth-grade Chemistry textbook and the necessary basis smoothly transitionrevision for teachers and students.
