In2013, the scale of nationwide college graduates will reach699million, therewill be19million more than2012, the employment situation for college graduates isvery complex and challenging. So the issue if college graduates can successfully find ajob, has become the hot issue which the whole society concern commonly. Theconstant expansion of the universities and colleges admissions, the growth in thenumber of university students is far more than the number of talents with economicgrowth, the employment market is saturated. And the global economic situation is notoptimistic, college graduates feel unprecedented pressure on employment. Many collegestudents are in the career choice, appearing typical performance of career decision-making difficulties, such as being confused to face the future career, being unable tomake a choice, even appearing anxiety. So, before intervention on college students’career decision-making difficulties, researchers need to explore the career decision-making difficulties related factors.This study’s subjects are from Daqing Normal University, using the method ofquestionnaire measuring, using independent samples T-test, correlation analysis,regression analysis, to understand the differences of the students from differentbackground in parenting style, career decision-making self-efficacy, career decision-making difficulties variables, to explore the intrinsic link among parenting style, careerdecision-making self-efficacy, career decision-making difficulties at the same time, toprovide some guidance and advices for parents, students and college career counselingstaff. Main conclusions are as follows:1Parenting style has significant differences in gender. The scores of male aresignificantly higher than female in the “reject” dimension,the scores of female aresignificantly higher than male in the “emotional warmth” and”over-protection”dimensions. Career decision-making difficulties have significant differences indiscipline, the scores of liberal arts students are significantly higher than sciencestudents in the “information exploration difficulties” and”conflicts” dimensions. 2College students’ career decision-making self-efficacy with career decision-making difficulties is significantly negatively correlated, each dimension of careerdecision-making self-efficacy with “emotional warmth” of parent style is significantlypositive correlated, each dimension of career decision-making difficulties with “reject”and “over-protect” of parent style is significantly positive correlated.3Parenting style and career decision-making self-efficacy both are effectivepredictors of career decision-making difficulties.4Career decision-making self-efficacy play a partial intermediary role inparenting style and career decision-making difficulties.
