With the further development of Chinese market economy, the construction of the discipline teams is an important subject which has already concerned widespread by the management departments of our country government, universities and the leader of disciplines. In the construction of disciplinary team, we need to pay attention to the factors of team members such as gender, education, professional title and overseas experience. We must also concentrate the development stage, region and type of the universities to establish appropriate disciplinary teams. In theoretical research, the subject of the disciplinary team building has always been an important topic. The researchers not only analyzed the internal factors of the team, also has carried on the thorough discussion to external factors. However, there are few reports to attribute to research the construction problems of disciplinary team from the perspective of team heterogeneity. Therefore, it has important guiding meaning and reference value to research the perspective of team heterogeneity by empirical method in order to reform and improve the team building of disciplines in universities in China, to improve the training quality and level, promote competition and development between the universities.In the paper, I studied the heterogeneity of the team members of our country financial discipline team56universities and the scale, development stage and the type of the universities through the empirical method, each district relationship with team performance, to improve the construction of disciplinary team and propose some advices. In the paper, SPSS19.0was employed in the single factor variance analysis of the research team size, development stage, type and region of the universities. The correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to research the heterogeneity of team member gender, proportion of Ph.D., proportion of overseas experience personnel proportion and senior professional titles four aspects. I draw the following conclusions: in China’s financial disciplinary team, the heterogeneity of the team member gender and proportion of Ph.D. has a certain influence in the team performance, but no significant relationship; the teachers with senior Professional ities and overseas experience in the proportion were significantly positively related to the team performance; the discipline team size on discipline ranking was significantly positively related; the development phase, the fixed number of year of the establishment of discipline ranking were positively correlated; the team type of the university has a great effect on team performance; the Area of the team for disciplines average performance impact was not significant.On the basis of the research conclusions, I put forward several improvement suggestions about the construction of the disciplinary team:first, people-oriented, pay special attention to the academic team construction; second, strengthen management, improve the academic level of scientific research; third, pay attention to quality, strengthen scientific research as a whole; fourth, pay advantage, foster new research direction.
