Teachers’ professional identity is the driving force to promote teacher development, internal factors to stimulate teachers hard work。 Enhance teachers’ professional identity, is premise to promote a change of attitude of teaching profession, maintaining stability and the teachers development.This is an empirical study about Anhui Newly teachers’ professional identity, with the questionnaire, the research analyses the current situation of new university teachers’ professional identity in Anhui province under the background of the coexistence of market economy multi-cultural values and deepening education reform, not only the overall levels of teachers’ professional identity in and all universities but also the different area of teachers’ professional identity among universities included, make a more in-depth analysis for professional identity of teachers.The results show that:(1)The overall level of newly established university teachers’ professional identity in Anhui province is medium level. of which the score of teachers’ vocational skills is the highest, and the teachers’ professional values get the lowest score;(2)The college’s geographical location and the nature of colleges affect the level of teachers’ professional identity;(3)The influence factors of university teachers’ professional identity include not only the area and nature of university,but also teachers’ academic factors, gender factors, academic background factors,seniority factor and other factors.Currently, there are some problems in Anhui Newly teachers’ professional identity:(1)teachers’ professional identity overall level is not high, compared to other provinces is low;(2) young teachers’ professional identity is lower;(3) Private college teachers’ professional identity is low level;(4) Teacher professional values were fluctuating state.Factors affecting teachers’ professional identity are teacher factors, organization factors, government factors and society factors. Teacher factors include teachers’ values and professional values, mental capacity, participate in training and teachers’ hobbies; Organization factors include relationships, work environment, school management and school related systems; Government factors include teachers’ Wages, and related policies; Society factors include social change and the nature of the teaching profession and social prestige.Improved newly established university teachers’ professional identity need teachers, university, government and society to work together in four areas. Only by giving full play to the central role of teachers,play a fundamental role of universities,play a role in promoting of the government, to play social’s synergy,in order to continuously improve newly established university teachers’ professional identity, promote the professional development of newly established university teachers.
