Social transition, urban residents for possession of economic resources and thedifferent levels, leading to urban populations occur within the income limits of socialstratification. This social stratification is caused by the reform of the economic system, theeconomic transformation of society in a normal social phenomenon. Accelerated process ofaging society, highlighting the importance of pension issues, prompting the pension needsto upgrade to a new vertex. Income limit of social stratification, we can no longer take thepension needs of urban residents treated as a unified homogenous needs. High-income andmiddle-income pension needs of diverse, high-level study their pension needs to have aguiding role in the improvement of the social care service system. Therefore, this articlewill be urban high-income earners, middle-income pension needs as the starting point toexplore proposals for improvement of the system of social services for the elderly.The paper is divided into five parts, of the research background of the article,significance, and literature review. On this basis, the relevant concept is defined andproposed theoretical basis. Secondly, the survey results for the empirical data on the urbanhigh-income, middle-income status of the pension needs of current and old-age needs tofind out the problems of the urban high-income and middle-income earners face pensiondemand. Followed by analysis of the problem, combined with the current social system ofold-age benefits the status quo, explore suggestions and improvement measures.
