Nowadays, the society is developing with high speed on economy, science and technology, while more and more people have doubts on the teaching quality of the schools’education. In current school education system, teachers always take the scores as the standard of assessing the competence of the students, and divide the students into three ranks, the excellent, the medium and the backward; teachers will treat the students differently based on the classification. For example, they will have a high expectation on "the excellent" students, while a low expectation on "the backward". When the different expectations are formed, the teachers will behave differently according to the different expectations, when the differences are found out by the students, the "teachers’ expectation effect" will start to play a part. Since the "teacher’s expectation effect" is so magic and useful, it is very necessary to research on the fundamentals of the formation and transmission of "teachers’expectation effect", to disclose the effect of the expectation transmission, and then take advantage of the positive effect of the "teachers’ expectation effect", get rid of the negative effect as well.The transmission of teachers’ expectation is the cognition of the teachers and students in school environment to expectation information, so this article will surely involve the knowledge of Social cognitive psychology; while the transmission between students and teachers are achieved by the intermediary of expectation information, so this article will also involve Communication Knowledge; and the transmission between students and teachers are eventually the mental activity between them, it is bi-directional instead of single direction, it will surely involve the teachers and students’ attention, accept, understanding and memory, and put into initial cognitive structure, so this article will also involve communication Psychology. In a word, this article’s research is based on Social cognitive psychology, Communication Knowledge and communication Psychology, to deeply analyze the formation and transmission of the "teachers’ expectation", and combine the detailed teaching and education practice, thus construct the "4stages,6steps" theory of "teachers’ expectation" transmission.The4stages are expectation information input stage, information processing stage, information output stage and information amendment stage; the6steps are confirmation of the teacher’s type, analysis of the students information, designing of the teachers’ intermediary activity, designing of the students consciousness involvement, designing of expectation amendment and improvement of the teachers’expectation. The "4stages,6steps" theory of "teachers’expectation" transmission will provide effective guidance to the teaching practice activities, effectively improve the teaching quality in the detailed practices and environments.Finally, the "4stages,6steps" theory has to be tested by the practical teaching environments. The author has already used this theory on the middle and primary school teaching practices, and find out lots of success and remaining problems. This will provide precious experiences for the future study of "teachers’ expectation".
