Physiology is the basis of education, education can’t do without the physiology. Education is an activity that must depends on the human body especially the brain and, human physiological functions, such as visual, olfactory, tactile action, language and memory, will directly affect the education results. Therefore, only by fully understanding the human body physiology, can we effectively promote the development of education and carry on the necessary improvement. At present, the repressive that violation of student physical laws making some education stressed human nature, influence students’ physical development,which due to the teacher’s ignorance of physiological scientific,is very common. In this case, physiology education emerges as the time’s require. Education bases on the development of human body physiology, and analyses the physiological basis and human physiological scientific law provisions on the function of education activities design, which determines the starting point of education, method and speed, to achieve physiological scientific education in system, content, method, process, etc.. Teachers’ educational physiology accomplishment is the stable attitude and self-control that teachers have in the teaching of physical science to view on education from a physiological point and the ability to design scientific education activities according to the physiological regulation.Teachers’ educational physiology quality directly affects whether the education could be based on physical science, and whether the students’ physical and mental could develop healthy.This study, Chengdu City suburb of eight primary and secondary schools as the object, presents the situation and existing problems of the primary and secondary school teachers’ education physiology quality present situation and existing problems,and explores the causes of the problems, and gives suggestions on how to improve the teachers in elementary school and middle school students science literacy. First of all, basing on the research at home and abroad,it analyses the reality of the grasp that primary and secondary school teachers must have education physiology quality:the requirements to benefit realization education best; adhere to the people-oriented, promoting the education activity in physiological scientific requirements; give full play to students’ brain inherent requirements. At the same time, it tells the concept of teacher education physiology literacy, mainly in physiology education practice, dynamic, sensitivity and science as well as teachers in physiology education awareness, knowledge, ability, intellectual accomplishment.Secondly, it researches the teachers’ education physiology quality in the eight primary and secondary schools in the suburbs of Chengdu by questionnaire and interview, and analyzes the results of the investigation, understanding that the current primary and secondary school teachers in physiology education literacy education mainly exist physiological problem consciousness and reflective consciousness is not strong, education physiology knowledge reserve less, education of physiological capacity for further improvement, education wisdom is lack of physiological problems in four aspects.Again, it analyses the causes of the above problems, one of which is that the social concerns about students’spiritual life more than material life; the second of which is a comprehensive effect of school level factors, including lower qualities of teachers, teacher education absence and examination of the "baton" effect.Finally, it gives some thoughts on improving teacher education physiology literacy. To improve the literacy education of primary and secondary school teachers,we have to follow the four basic principles, initiative, unity, truth-seeking and pragmatic, to be specific, which can be measured from the two stages,pre-service and in-service. To strengthen pre-vocational education, and lay the foundation of new teachers’formation and improve of literacy education physiology,one is to open the courses of education physiology in normal colleges, two is to strengthen the education of teachers college physical science teachers; as well,paying attention to vocational education, to create conditions of physiological for improving the literacy education of primary and secondary school teachers, which can start from the school, training, teachers three aspects.
