In1993, Outline of China Education Reform and Development Program pointedout that “Primary and secondary school should turn ‘examination-oriented education’to improve the quality of all students comprehensively and improve the students’ideological and moral, cultural, labor skills, and physical and mental, promote thedevelopment of the student lively, develop their own characteristics.”“develop theirown characteristics” the development of China’s primary and secondary schools pointto the characteristics of the road. State Educational Reform and Development Plans forMedium and Long-Term Programs (2010by2020)pointed out well as that:“toestablish the concept of development of the core in order to improve the quality ofeducation, to focus on content development,to encourage schools to build the featuresand a higher standard, to cultivate the teacher, to nurture talent.”“do their owncharacteristics” shows the close attention of the country on the characteristic schools.Primary and secondary school have carried out to construct characteristic schools allover the country and have gained certain results. But there are some problems indeveloping the characteristic schools, such as featured generation, being lack ofsubstantive advance. How to conduct deep exploration is becoming a urgent problemin conducting characteristic school.Cases, literature, theory and education survey research methods are used in thisthesis, Though these methods, to research deeply about the practice of Chongqing Renhe Jie primary school on building characteristic school. Through analyzing theeducation and practice of a typical school, summarizing and summing up thecharacteristics of the school building experience and then summing up the shortages.Though the experience, providing some experience to the other primary and secondaryschool, even higher level characteristic school.This thesis is composed of fourchapters as follows:ChapterⅠ, First, Elaborating the reason of selecting the topic, and thesignificance of the study. Second, reviewing the related to literature about this thesis.Then, defining the core concept of this paper. Last, describing the study design, whichinclude research objectives, research content research idea and study method.ChapterⅡ, Analyzing theory. First, overview the content of characteristic shool.Second, Illustrating the significance of the characteristic school. Then, explain thetheory foundation. Last, analyzing the main criteria on the constructing primary school characteristics on the base of it.Chapter III, Presenting the case. First, a detailed description of the case andconducting research with the form of questionnaires and interview on Ren he Streetprimary school. Then analyzing the results. Second, summarizing the successfulexperience and shortcomings of Ren he Street conducts characteristic school thoughthe investigation combined with the case survey.Chapter IV, conclusion and discussion. To undertake a comprehensive summaryabout the study at the end of the thesis.
