As a result of the difference of physical and mental development between childrenand pupils, there are significant differences in the aims of education, the content ofeducation, presentations of education presentations and educational evaluations andprimary school belongs to compulsory education, however kindergarten education is not,this led to a essential difference between kindergarten education and primary schooleducation, children learn from daily life, game and teaching activities, their learningactivities are more focused on direct experience learning, this has a closely connectionwith their life, there is no learning stress, this is the kind of enlightenment aiming toaccumulate abundant and beneficial experiences for their happy childhood. However,when children went to primary schools, class teaching became their main pathway oflearning, this will require them to have basic knowledge and basic ability, they will alsohave to finish learning tasks that the school provisioned focusing on learning of indirectexperiences. Due to the educational and learning differences, some of these childrenwould emerge poor learning adaptability, this would directly influence the quality oflearning and life in primary schools.Grade one is the start of the entire primary school education, this will lay thefoundation of their further study. Starts from grade one, their status of whether if theycan have the correct learning attitude, the strong interest in learning, the pleasure ofmeeting the demand of study, getting good grades through learning, this wouldinfluence their school life. This study is based on Jane Piaget’s stages theory ofcognitive development in children and meta-cognition theory, took Chongqing Aprimary school grade one students as the object of study by doing questionnaire surveyand interviewing on their parents and teachers from six dimensionalities: learningattitudes, learning habits, personality factors, class learning methods, familyenvironment and school environment. The result is: The learning adaptability of thegrade one students were favorable in average especially in three aspects which werefamily environment factors, class learning methods and school environment factors;nonetheless, there are25.9%students are having obvious problems in learning habit, 20.9%of them are having problems in learning attitude and17.8%of the students arehaving problems in independence and perseverance of learning. Accordingly, this studyanalysed the cause of these problems in four dimensionalities: the students themselves,family education, kindergarten education and primary school education, combined allthose factors above to give suggestions to promote grade one primary school students’learning adaptability in kindergarten level, primary school level, family level and theinteraction of those three levels: these children should be prepared for primary school inadvance, attach importance to the development of kindergarten top grade class students’learning attitude and learning habit; primary schools should improve students’ learningenvironment, take full use of the teachers’ guiding effects and build up a harmoniousrelationship between students and teachers; the family should foster good habits tochildren, promote and improve their learning adaptation; build sweet and easy familyenvironment, provide a harmonious family atmosphere to children; respect theircuriosity, arouse their desire of exploring; meanwhile, families, kindergartens andprimary schools should cooperate with each other and achieve a three linkage.
