Research On The Current Situation Of After-class Of Undergraduates In Beijing Sport University

This paper selected 2203 undergraduates from colleges of athletic. Education,martial arts,sports science and administration and departments of sports media and communication,foreign language study and sports arts altogether,among whom there are i146 boys and 1038 girls. It tries to make a comparative comprehensive aqquaintances of their after-class lives,and to find the differences of the after-class lives of undergraduates from different college,grade,sexes and hometowns, and got the following conclusions after analysis:1.The after-class life in our university is not abundant and the general consumption level of their entertainment is relatively low,and the interpersonal communication and life habits are good.2.The after-class lives of undergraduates of academics and non-academics shows great differences:undergraduates of academics put much more effort on study,while the undergraduates of non-academics attached more attention to sport exercises;and their standards of choosing friends and lovers are also different,there is a much more large portion of undergraduates who have lovers are of non-academics.3.The consumption level of entertainment of undergraduates at sports art department is relative high and and few of them could study of their own will;worse interpersonal communication;bad dieting habits and lack of sleep,and most of whom paid attention to weight controlling.The lowest rate of having a lover is of the undergraduates from foreign language study department;some them did not pay much attention to sports exercises and the rate of never-do-exercises is up to 15.5%;good dieting habit on the whole and 95.7%of them have meals in the university,and have noon break habit,undergraduates from the athletic college have close relations with their teachers,and their consumption on dieting is the highest.Undergraduates from sports science college have worst relation with their teachers,and the sleeping of them is the best. 4.The time spends on study is fewer and fewer with the grades increasing, while the portion of sports exercises is growing,and their ability of interpersonal communication is improving;the life habit of freshman is the best while the senior is the worst,which showed by the worst dieting, sleeping,smoking and drinking habit.5.The after-class lives of undergraduates of different sexes are quite different.The girls tends to studying,sleeping,reading books or magazines and shopping,while the boys tends to sports exercises and playing games,whose after-class sports exercises,interpersonal communication ability and sleeping are much better than girls,but their dieting habits are not regular and much more of them have smoking and drinking habits compared with girls.6.The after-class lives of undergraduates from cities and rural areas showed great differences.Undergraduates from rural areas tend to make full use of their spare time,and their sports exercising,dieting and sleeping habits are much better,but their smoking and drinking habit are worse.Undergraduates from cities have better abilities in interpersonal communication.
