Design And Implementation Of Client In The Enrollment System For Regular Institutions Of High Learning (GuangDong)

The project of The Guangdong Province College Enrollment System is a systemthat in order to meet the demand of Guangdong province college enrollment by TheGuangdong Education Examinations Center.This system is a C/S structure system, it improves veracity and reliabilityof the examinee information, and reduces the affect of human factors, and followsthe principle of openness, fairness, impartiality.This enrollment system uses three layers structure of C/S, it use Delphi7.0to develop Server Client Procedure, and Oracle10g to build an online database.The data of Guangdong Province College Enrollment System are stored in the centralserver in Guangdong Education Examinations Center. All the clients connect to theserver to operate over the CERNET.This article focused on the process of the system client, it’s the maininteractive components of this system. The university and college can accomplishcomplex calculation by this client. Logical operation in presentation layer isaccomplished by client, and submit the result to the server. it can reduce theamount of communications between the client and server efficiently, and improvethe coefficient of performance.Lastly, the paper summarized the whole working process and proposed moreexpectations for future study.
