Digital Mine is a digital manifestation for real mine. It occupies an important positionin the field of geographic information system. And, three-dimensional tunnel networkmodeling and visualization is one of most important content in digital mine research. Theresearch result lays a robust foundation in spatial analysis, but also helps solving problemssuch as mine rescue. The main research content and results are as follows:For the three-dimensional tunnel network modeling, first of all, the thesis based onanalysis of three-dimensional tunnel modeling data source and characteristics, selected a datamodel applicable to three-dimensional tunnel network modeling and path analysis, anddevised data structure in line with data model to further design database so as to read andprocess node, arc, tunnel and mid-section information. Second, during the entirethree-dimensional tunnel network modeling, complex tunnel adopted symmetrical modeling. However, as the complex tunnel network, the integrated modeling of simple and complextunnel by using the method of taking the midpoint of the centerline at the redundant node.Integrated modeling of the shaft and horizontal tunnel falls into3types: Top shaft andhorizontal tunnel; bottom shaft and horizontal tunnel; through-type shaft and horizontaltunnel. In order to solve problems such as mine rescue, path analysis based on three-dimensionaltunnel network model is necessary. The shortest path analysis based on hierarchy wasimproved by combing the consideration of hierarchy concept and improving data structure. Moreover, in order to apply to three-dimensional tunnel network model path analysis, itenhanced ant colony algorithm in terms of its storage structure, and selected the optimalparameter combination applicable to the above network model path analysis. Last but not least, visual and path analysis experiment system was established with thehelp of OpenGL graphics functions package via Visual C++6.0development tool at the SQLServer2000Database Management System on the Windows XP Platform. The system finallyachieved dynamic three-dimensional tunnel modeling and shortest and optimal path analyticresult. By the example of lead zinc ore from Feng County Yinmusi, application research onthe experiment system was conducted to further verify practicableness and effectiveness ofthree-dimensional tunnel network modeling and path analytic method used in this paper.
