| As the key technique of the fourth generation mobile communication, in recentyears, cooperative communication has got broad attentions and research. Cooperativecommunication technology provides an efficient approach to inhibit signal fading, solvespectrum resource deficiency problem, improve the quality of mobile communicationsystems, expand coverage area and improve the system capacity. Phased array antennacan steer the main lobe towards the desired signal, and form specific radiation patternthrough adjusting the phase of each array element. It makes the phased array antennatechnology can be applied in a variety of situations.Based on reading a lot of technology literature in the related field, the thesisdiscusses the cooperative protocols on cooperation communication and phased arrayantenna technology. The dominant research works are illustrated as follows:①The channel model of the wireless communication system was analyzed, andintroduced the fundamental theories of diversity techniques and combining techniquewhich are widely used in wireless network. For MIMO technology is not adapt to themobile terminal, this thesis educed the concept and model of the cooperativecommunication.②This paper described all kinds of protocol on cooperative communication,analyzes their advantages and disadvantages, and studied the outage probability ofcooperative protocol through the simulation analysis. It also introduced and comparedthe specific types of relay selection algorithm.③The fundamental theories of phased array antenna were explained, which mailytheoretically analyzed the specific array form of the structure such as uniform lineararray, uniform circular array.④Studied the framework of using phased array antenna for single relay nodecooperative communication. And it theoretically studied the performance of the system,using AF, DF and incremental relay these three different cooperation protocols as basiccooperative protocol. The transmission performance of the cooperative system wassimulated and analyzed in different spectral efficiency, different SNR, and differentnumbers of array respectively.⑤The four-way array signal receiver based on FPGA is completed and its circuit isdescribed in detail. Then the test results of this hardware platform were analyzed. |
