This thesis focuses on the design and development of the Police Comprehensive Statistical Information System that applies .NET -based technology .This thesis describes the requirements analysis, overall design, detail design, database design, development technology, implementation and arrangement on the comprehensive statistical information system, and also carries on a deep analysis to the system according to the design method of software engineering.On the technical side, the Police Comprehensive Statistical Information System using B/S mode, to ASP.NET2.0 as a system software platform, to SQL SERVER2005 as a database platform, to Visual Studio 2005 as a Software Development Platform. In the system architecture, the system uses three-tier architecture(presentation layer, application layer, database layer) design. The system is divided into a number of specific system functions modules,and Identified the logical relationship between them.Then the system functions modules are designed in detail by using Flow charts ,use case diagram,class diagram etc. . In part of the database design, this thesis describes the system database entity-relationship by using E-R diagram, and the data structures by designing data sheet. In part of the implementation and deployment, this thesis describes the effects of system functions,and system hardware standard,and system software deployment scenarios,and training program.In conclusion, this thesis analyses and expound on the whole process of designing and developing the comprehensive statistical information system in detail, carries on a research on the application of .NET technology in this system, puts forward one’s own thinking and method of solution to the development of the police statistical information systems .
