| In this paper, the knowledge service and its key technologies of the productdesign for multi-design teams collaboration are studied with using the collaborativeproduct design (CPD) method and combining ontology technology. The method ofontology-based knowledge modeling, the method of ontology-based knowledgeintegration and the method of ontology-based knowledge navigation of collaborativeproduct design for multi-design teams are studied. Then a knowledge serviceprototype system of multi-design teams collaborative product design (MDT_CPD) isconstructed to solve the problems of knowledge service such as the knowledgeorganization, representation, integration, exchange and sharing in the process ofcollaborative product design, and also to promote the effective management of theknowledge, then finally provides effective knowledge service for the collaborativeproduct designers. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)A framework of knowledge service technologies for multi-design teamscollaborative product design is proposed. The related theory of knowledge service, CPD and ontology are studied firstly, and then established a knowledge service model. Pointed out that the CPD is furtherdeepening and development for the concurrent design and virtual design, and ismanagement and coordination better for the design organization structure at a higherlevel; analyzed the advantages of ontology technology in solving problems such assemantic heterogeneity. Finally, after analyzed the knowledge service demands, aframework of knowledge service technologies for multi-design teams collaborativeproduct design is proposed.(2)Studied the method of ontology-based knowledge modeling of collaborativeproduct design for multi-design teams.Based on the analysis of characteristics of the CPD for multi-design teams, aCPD model is defined from the formalization. Multi-design teams CPD work modeland knowledge ontology constructing framework are established. The taskdecomposition methods, principles and process of the CPD are introduced. Then, atthe research background of mechanical products collaborative design, the knowledgemodeling process of the CPD for multi-design teams based on ontology modeling theory is studied by utilizing the classification and description method of thinkingcombining with the ontology modeling tool Protégé, and put forward a method ofontology-based knowledge modeling of collaborative product design for multi-designteams.(3) Studied the method of ontology-based knowledge integration ofcollaborative product design for multi-design teams.A knowledge integration model of CPD for multi-design teams based onontology is studied and constructed, which consists of five layers: the resources layer, the local ontology layer, the global ontology layer, the visualization layer and theapplication layer. This model laid the foundation for the multi-disciplinary knowledgeintegration. The ontology mapping framework model and ontology mapping conceptintegrated model are also studied in this paper. Three main concept similaritycalculation methods are introduced simply.(4) Studied the method of ontology-based knowledge navigation ofcollaborative product design for multi-design teams.A knowledge context navigation model is constructed, which contains fourlayers: the designer context, the collaborative work platform context, the collaborativework environment context and the knowledge service context, there has very closeties among these four contexts. Then analyzed the knowledge navigation principlefrom two aspects: the knowledge organization methods and knowledge pushtechnologies. Based on ontology, the main idea of knowledge organization methodsfor the CPD is pointed out. Introduced the concept of knowledge push, and focus onestablished a knowledge push system framework of the CPD for multi-design teams.(5)Constructed a knowledge service prototype system for MDT_CPD.Constructed a knowledge service prototype system for MDT_CPD based on theWeb Service, using UML to analysis and design this system, established parts of usecase diagram, and finally presents the realizing process of the system. |
