Manufacturing execution system(MES) was a bridge between MRPⅡ/ERPfaced information management and the device control system manufacturing cells,which could solve the information gap and silos between the business managers andthe production control in workshop based on the timely response and informationinteraction. The way of information among people was simulated by the presentinformation technologies of internet. Their status information was obtained real-timeby sneaking various equipments perceiving information into the objects. And theseobject sensors were interconnected by communications network to deal with theseperceiving information intelligently, which could realize the management,coordination and controlling to the objects.This article took the Manufacturing Execution System of an enterprise as theobject of study,from the beginning of investigation and analysis of ManufacturingExecution System status, through the analysis of the system improvement goals, thecomprehensive use of industrial engineering theory to improve the existingmanufacturing execution system. the whole structure model of MES was foundedbased on the theory and technology of Internet of Things, whose various functionalmodules of the system carried out a detailed design; based on the whole structuremodel of the system, the subsystem monitoring of the enterprise’s equipments basedon the Internet of Things was developed by combining developing techniques andtheories, and it was realized.The entire structure of enterprise MES based on Internet of Things was designedexhaustly in this article, which provided the guidance and reference MES in theenterprise. At the same time, enterprise MES based on Internet of Things can beeffectively implemented enterprise system integration and dynamic monitoring, whichalso has certain practical value for the comprehensive development of enterprise information.
