With more and more severe energy shortage situation, it is imperative to promoteenergy-saving technologies. Heat pump is recognized as energy-saving product aroundthe world. Human-computer interaction system is an important part of heat pumpcontroller, and a good one can provide users with visual interface, rich user experienceon operations, and make the most of the controller’s performance,with features ofsimple operation, friendly interface, user-friendly design.The task of this paper is to develop a human-computer interaction system of heatpump controller with good performance of interaction, which is based on S3C2410Aprocessor, Windows CE 5.0 operating system, and Qt graphical user interface. The tasksinclude tailoring and customizing Windows CE operating system, developing relevantdrivers and human-computer interaction interface based on Qt platform. Realizing thefunctions of real-time dynamic data display, parameters configuration, faults alarm anddata storage etc. Moreover, the system supports RS485 communication, man-machineinterface such as touch screen and finally should pass the tests.The overall development program of heat pump controller’s human-computerinteraction system based on Windows CE 5.0 embedded operating system and Qtgraphical user interface was given.The transplantation and development of BootLoader and OEM AbstractionLayer(OAL) was completed, and customization of system characteristic includingapplication auto-start, the task bar hidden and the desktop customization was achieved;Combined with RS485 drivers, development process of device drivers of flow interfaceand system interrupt mechanism were analyzed, and then human-computer interactioninterfaces, such as LCD display drivers and touch screen drivers and so on, weresuccessfully developed. and so, BSP development based on Windows CE system wasfinished.Based on Qt/Embedded, the overall structure and design process ofhuman-computer interaction interface program were given in the paper. Qt developmentenvironment was established, and the human-computer interaction interface programdesign and transplant were realized, and the designs of the key modules including serialport, database and multithread were also completed. The functional tests of BootLoader, performance tests of drivers, tests of Qtgraphical user interface, and on-line debugging for human-computer interaction systemwere finally completed. The test results show that the system runs stably, and hasfriendly man-machine interface.
