Design And Realization Of Mobile Video Telephony UI Function Based On The Android Platform

The 3G network coverage and the Android operating system with open source play important roles for the appearance of video telephony. Video telephony UI functions play an important role in the user operation with video telephony.This article is based on the demand for mobile video telephony interface analysis, according to the specific requirements, and design and realization of mobile video telephony UI based on the Android Platform. This article is based on open-source Android operating system and uses the Java JDK+Eclipse+Android SDK development and design for convenient features added and system upgrades.The application processor content four functions:VT telephony service, VT manager VT engine and VT app. The design of VT app is handle the UI data stream of video telephony and give the user the correct message function to the user.UI data flow that VT app has to deal with is respectively realized through the call out going interface, the call incoming interface, the call establish interface, the call ended interface and the abnormal situation interface. The call incoming interface includes four parts:contacts images, incoming text messages, button controls and block pictures. The call outgoing interface includes four parts:contacts images, incoming text messages, button controls and block pictures. The call connected interface includes six parts:connected images, connected text messages, button controls, block pictures, select menu and context menu. The call ended interface from top to bottom includes the end of the prompt, the remote user’s name, the remote user’s phone number, call duration, call date and call start time. The abnormal situation interface contents the user isn’t in the 3G network and the other isn’t in the 3G network. If the user chooses to re-try the video telephony, the phone will re-launch video telephony call. If the user chooses to make voice call, the phone will launch voice call.Through the design and implementation the interface features, complete good user experience, interface specification and extensions of the strong visual telephone interface features.
