With the network construction of full-service environment, data, multimedia, wireless, private line, broadband services and other kinds of services will get rapid development, And the circuit service of the networks presents the trends of broadbandã€IP-based and the diversity of circuit. In order to meet the needs of the circuit service, the metropolitan-area transmission network, as a basic circuit bearing network, should be constructed with the transformation of service.Presently, the construction of metropolitan access network of Guilin area of Guangxi Mobile is mainly on the access of BTS’s need, the access network idea has been difficult to meet the future needs of the full-service operation. Long construction period of customers access, the single access methods of 2M access, has become a bottleneck in the construction of full-service, hindered the develop of it. Therefore, to meet the needs of the access of full-service, how to build the metroplitan access network has become the key of the global deployment of Guilin’s full-service operation, and also the urgent requirements of Guilin’s strategic development. To this end, the research and design of the planning of the access layer of Guilin’s metropolitan access networks is proceded, providing technical information to the development of service and the construction of network.Basing on the comparison of the major metropolitan access network transmission technology SDH/MSTP, PTN, GPON and wireless access technology, combining with the survey of the current status of the metro a transmission network and the forecast of user of full-service, according to the background of full-service operation, this article analyses how to plan the network, makes clear ideas and directions of development, proposes the basis of construction to promote the metre access layer’s development. |
