Bird strike usually refers to bird collides with the flying aircraft. Bird strike eventsare well known to people and reported in various medium. In the 21st century, with theeconomy and social development, domestic air transport industry of china has been ona new level. A sharp increase in aircraft, flight line, the opening of the aviation sector has increased more uncertainties of bird strike. The dangers of bird strike are self-evident,not only cause huge economic losses, but also make serious threat to the crew and passengers of their safety, and may even cause the tragedy of plane crash. It is a serious issue for everyone in the aviation community to reduce or even eliminate the bird strike events happened. It is imperative for us to take effective measures to avoid bird strike incidents happened again as soon as possible.How to solve the bird strike problem? The development of science and technologygive us a new hope. Data warehouse and data mining technology provide an opportunityto solve these problems. The original measures to prevent the birds from striking the flying aircraft is observing the situation and driving them. In this way, not only time wasting and bad prospective, but also cannot use the observational data of birds effectively for the airline leader of their scientific decision-making.While using the technology based on data warehouse data mining, we can build thedata warehouse of the airport area based on the long-term observation of the bird situation, furthermore, we can also do the data processing and analysis to build the data mining models which will present the excavation results for the observers to do more work,just like finding the potential of information and knowledge to explain a good showing in the face of aviation for decision-makers. This is the system prototype called data warehouse data mining techniques in birds strike. Establishing the system can achieve the data collection, birds situation statistics, birds prediction, birds strike warning, decision support and other functions. This can solve the bird strike problem in current area of the airport to a certain extent and provide a scientific decision-making for the airport leaders.At first, this paper introduces some basic knowledge and research about the data warehouse and data mining, and then combined research background and situation of domestic and international with the bird strike prevent, building a data warehouse and a neuralnetwork model of the bird strike in the airport. The experiment is made and finished d ata mining process in the perfect data support. Finally, this paper proposes solutions andsupport technology for a bird strike vigilance system.In this paper, the main work and innovations are in the following:1. This paper makes a full investigation for the bird strike warning to guard againstthe relevant background and knowledge of the area, proposes the data warehouse and data mining techniques used in bird strike prevention ideas and the system of bird strikewarning to prevent establishment theoretical and practical results.2. Collecting, finishing and improving data for bird situation in a specific airport, and perfect, establishes standard data sets of bird situation and builds a data warehouse ofthe airport area bird situation based on this data set.3. The use of neural network algorithm to establish the area of the airport bird strike data mining model, finishing data mining experiment based on the data warehouse. Bydoing the experimental comparison of the two neural network algorithms, we obtain theneural network model.4. This paper proposed solutions, design objectives, principles, functional partitioning,and system architecture of birds strike the vigilance system.The system has laid a solidfoundation for bird strike warning to guard against the design and initial implementation.
