| With the development of aviation technology and the increasing of airspace flight flow, the civil aviation about navigation systems are required and become higher. Before, therestrictions of Secondary Surveillance Radar have been unable to meet the global aviationindustry development. ICAO has been seeking a new navigation system, in order to improvethe existing navigation system. On the current situation, ADS-B is preferred monitoringsystem relative to Secondary Surveillance Radar, because its precision is higher and error less.First, the research background, present situation, purpose and significance are introducedin the paper. Then Secondary Surveillance Radar, its precision and errors are introducedbriefly. Second, ADS-B technology principle, its airborne system and application are alsointroduced in the USA, Europe and Australia. Three, from the GNSS part, compared to SSR,the effect factors about the precision and error of ADS-B system are analyzed and calculated.Four, the air traffic control, the collision are introduced simply, the collsion model and thevalidation are analysised in detail.Last, in the paper, the validated model is presented based on the collision model, that’s,the Elliptical Cylinder model. As the B737-700 airplane an exaple, we calculate and analysisthe Reich model, the Reich improved model and the Elliptical Cylinder model. In theory, theresults show that using ADS-B system to monitor flighting on the rout meets the SSRseperation standard. |
