| Facilities management plays an important role in the entire property management. Analyzing the decision-making in property facilities management, and applying the scientific strategy to the property facilities management, will promote the property facilities management stepping into a new stage. In order to realize the scientific management of facilities, a model-based decision support system for property facilities management was developed, which was guided by the software reuse theory, using models as decision support.At the first stage, this article studies the basic theory of the facilities management and decision support system. It also analyzes the current status and characteristics of the property facilities management. Based on the first stage, combined with the advanced theories and references worldwide, this paper analyzes the main decision-making in property facilities management, which includes property facilities maintenance outsourcing decision, the selection decision, decisions and spare parts storage decision update, and assigning each decision-making proposal a scientific solution. At the third stage, through studies of literature and application of decision support technology, I assumed a facilities management decision support system and proved it works. The final part is the summary and discussion of the inadequacies, and the further research potential.This article aims to design a better decide-making supporting system of facilities management so as to assist facilities management decision maker. This work will provide a modeling and systematized decision tool for the property facilities management. |
