Distribute Discovery Services For Internet Of Things

Recently, the Internet of Things is applicated and used more and more widely, include EPC tags, the software about the Internet of Things, architecture about the Internet of Things and so on. The goal of the Internet of Things is to form a worldwide network, it is that how to set up in the inter-enterprise system of things within the system and between enterprises interact.In the Internet of Things,the information of products are stored in the company’s EPCIS server when the products moved on their supply chain.However,there are no direct relation between these company’s EPCIS servers in product’s supply chain.In order to find all information from these EPCIS server about an product,so it need require using the Internet of Things’s Discovery Service to find those information.Discovery Service is similar to a Web search engine,it querys to those EPCIS server to find the address of EPCIS server about an product and then get more detailed information.Although many countries are researching the technology about the Internet of Things,the Discovery Services has not been became a standard.EPCglobal proposes the Internet of Things is relatively complete and has influenced on the world.Firstly this article introduces EPCglobal proposed the technology about the Internet of Things.Then this article detaily analysis the Discovery Services proposed by the BRIDGE project,and point out that the centralized Discovery Services exists those questions about bottlenecks about querying an security privacy.Then this article proposed a distributed Discovery Service according to the distributed network’s characteristics and learned from BRIDGE project proposed the Query-relay directory service. This article made an analyses of the proposed Discovery Service in the data storage format,found infromation process and data privacy.Finally this article maked an analysis for the centralized and distributed Discovery Services. And then Analyzed the prospsed Discovery Services by using the test procedure, the result proves that it can effectively improve the utilization of network capacity and solve the load imbalance and other issues.
