Website Optimization Strategy Based On Web Usage Mining

Web usage mining can be divided into a web log mining and web custom mining two types. Web log mining is data mining analysis for a web server logs. The custom mining is analysis of user rule according to specific tools. Based on the analysis results improve the site traffic, improve the user experience. Under this method, the paper describes the mining and web custom web log mining, and study case of the site of wulinfeng, analyzed and discussed how to use web usage mining to optimize the site.The thesis is divided into seven parts. Introduces the research status in the part1; The part2is an overview of the web usage mining and web site optimization; The part3introduces the concept and process about web log mining. The part4introduces the concept of web custom usage mining, and the several common tools of web custom usage mining; The part5introduces site optimization measures based on web usage mining; The part6take the website of wulinfeng as an example, using web log mining and web custom usage mining to analysis the website of wulinfeng, then based on the analysis results, put forward the improvement measures of the website from two aspects which is the search engine optimization and enhance the user experience; The part7is a conclusion, the paper’s research work and deficiency were summarized, and the development of this field is discussed.
