Medical system reform is a top priority which is associated with people’s livelihood. With the continuous progress of China’s medical system reform, medical environment andcoverage of health security have been improved. But problems still exist, such as the numberof people seeing a doctor in large hospitals is more than the number of people in communityhospitals, medical cost which patients need pay by themselves is still high. Experts believethat China need develop community hospitals in order to accelerate medical system reform.Improve the medical environment of community hospitals, replace of obsolete medicalequipments and improve the overall level of medical staff so that most of disease can bediagnosed in community hospitals. Patients can see doctor graded, orderly between bighospitals and community hospitals.Cardiovascular disease is easy to threaten the lives of patients because of its abruptnessand fierce which are concerned by many countries in recent years. For patients with heartdisease confirmed or in the hospital for examination, it is important that how to real-timemonitor patients’ heart condition and tells the doctor to take emergency rescue when heartattack happened. From above two actual situations, I developed an ECG monitoring systemused in community hospitals. It can provide real-time, convenient, safe and inexpensive ECGmonitoring for patients who are in hospital examination, hospitalization, or postoperativerehabilitation with non-severe heart disease. As the development of wireless transmissiontechnology is very mature, I choose wireless transmission for ECG monitor transmitting datawhich eliminates the traditional cumbersome wires and is more convenient for patients to use.First of all, a wireless ECG monitoring network model used in community hospitals wasintroduced in this paper. Several Bluetooth devices constitute a wireless network covering theentire community hospitals. The Bluetooth model attached to wireless ECG monitor workedas a slave, while the Bluetooth USB dongle worked as a master. It searched the surroundingBluetooth devices and established a connection. The ECG data can be transmitted to computerin community hospitals by Bluetooth link and used for doctors monitoring and diagnosingECG. For some diseases that can’t be diagnosed by doctor, the ECG data would be sent to bighospitals by Internet and experts will assist in diagnoses. Two networks, dual protection, greatly reduce the risk of death because of failing to take timely rescue measures whenpatients in heart attack. At the same time, the use of wireless networks reduced the workloadof doctors, also ease the tense status of the community hospitals for lacking of medical staff. From chapter three, hardware circuits of the wireless ECG monitoring system weredesigned. ECG signal was amplified and filtered, then was converted into digital signals forsoftware processing and ECG analysis. WinCE was used as the embedded operating system. Icompleted building of software development environment, transplanting the BSP package anddevelopment of driver and application. In this paper, a wavelet nonlinear thresholding filterdenoising method and an improved wavelet algorithm used for detecting of the QRS complexare proposed. Experimental results show that the denoising method is very good and QRScomplex can be detected accurately. Finally, an abnormal ECG analysis algorithm was brieflyintroduced.
