Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a branch of the most competitive advantage in automatic identification technology. Compared with other automatic identification technologies, RFID has many advantages such as faster identification speed, stronger adaptability, non-visual range reading and writing and so on. Warehouse management system based on RFID technology can significantly improve management efficiency.The research of this paper mainly includes:1. Analyzed RFID technology characteristics and working principle, compared with the current widely used bar code technology, and discussed the feasibility and advantages of RFID technology used in warehouse management system.2. Anti-collision algorithm is the key technology of RFID systems. After having a comprehensive survey of the existing anti-collision algorithm, mainly done a detailed study of two common deterministic algorithms contains binary search anti-collision algorithm and jumping dynamic search anti-collision algorithm. On the basis of the analysis of the practical application, proposed an improved algorithm based on the jumping dynamic search anti-collision algorithm. This algorithm is called Pre-compression jumping anti-collision algorithm. It extracted the same bits to reduce the bits transmission. It improved the recognition efficiency.3. Combined with the needs of certain engineering equipment warehouse management, proposed an application scheme of warehouse management system based on RFID technology, and given detailed design of the system, including system hardware network architecture, software architecture, function modules design, database design, and summed up the general principles of RFID hardware selection.4. Designed the storage space selection algorithm. It enables the storage space can be automatically selected and positioned, thus facilitating the operation of the custodian.5. Analyzed system safety and effectiveness. The results show that the design of the system is safe and effective.
