Rearch And Design Of The Embedded Search Engine Based On P2P Network

With the rapid development of internet, the network has become a huge repository of information, it has a highly open, heterogeneous, distributed nature and updates at high-speed every day, more and more information could be contacted by users. How to effectively extract valuable information from a variety of information for users has become the focus of users’attention. Most of traditional search engine provide through a centralized manner, in that case, we can not make a good use of the resources of individual users, as well as can not share the resources. The personalized search engine based on P2P network just to make up this shortage, make the use of resources of individual users more efficiently, it allows people who have the same commonality to establish and jointly maintain a common industry, which can increase the query efficiency within the group. On the other hand, with the continuous development of the mobile communications, the mobile handset features are growing, at the same times the data type and capacity of mobile phone are constantly increasing, how to positioning the data fast and accurate which user needs as an urgent problem to be solved.Combined with the advantages of the peer network applications in search engine, this paper aims to design a embedded search engine which is compatible with PC and mobile phone, and mobile phone as a peer of the network has a search function independently, that is to say, it can implement this function needn’t to connect PC or other device, showing user the most accurate results.This article described P2P technology firstly, including the definition of P2P, the characteristics of P2P technology and its application and advantages in search engine; followed the principles of search engines are discussed, focusing on the classification and characteristics of P2P search engine technology and the traditional embedded search engine. Researched and analysis the key technology of search engine in P2P network, such as Chinese word segmentation, indexing techniques and search technology, compared traditional way of indexing with the way of inverted, and pointed out their advantages and shortcoming. Then, according to the mobile terminal system features described the key technology, strategy and architecture design, software process design and the specific implementation and results of the search engine researched in this paper, also made the testing and evaluation on functional aspect and performance.Finally, a summary of the paper is given as well as the prospective of the research.
