| There is essential difference between the desktop virtual and real experiments. The reciprocal process between learners and the virtual experiment is not in thepresence of the virtual environment, leading to the learners experience the motivatedforgetting, cognitive attitudes and responsibility reducing in doing the virtualexperiment, which brings about the gap between the virtual and real experiments onthe aspect of psychology, such as emotional aspect and attitudes of learners and thegap influences the teaching effect of the virtual experiment. Therefore, it is verysignificant to study how to narrow the psychological gap of learners between thevirtual and real experiments and make the learners have psychological experiencewhich is as approximate as in the real experiment, so that the virtual experimentcould better to promote the learners’ high migration of learning. This study tries to bring the Flow Theory, the Emotional Design Theory and theCognitive dissonance theory in the virtual experiment design. By means of thecomparison between the virtual and real experiments, and analysis of the learners’psychological characteristic in those two experiments, it put forwards the strategy ofvirtual experiment design to narrow the psychological gap of learners in those twovirtual experiments and design the virtual experiment,“optical comparator tomeasure the smooth limit gaugeâ€, with the usage of that strategy. This thesis consists of five parts:Chapter one introduces the background, significance, methods and the relatedresearch status about the topic.Chapter two comparatively analyses the features of the virtual and real experiments and describes the learners’ psychological traits in those two experiments.Meanwhile, it concludes the main factors which cause the psychological gap oflearners.Chapter three is based on the emphasis on that the situation, affection, responsibility and occasional factors influence the learners’ psychology in doing thevirtual experiment. With the guidance of the psychological theory, such as the flowtheory, emotional design theory and cognitive dissonance psychological theory, itraises the virtual experiment design strategies in narrowing the learners’ psychologicalgap, for example, strengthening the immersed sense, making up for the emotionalcommunication, setting contingency and improving the responsibility consciousness. And it also put forwards specific methods referring to each strategy.Combined with the strategies and methods carried out to narrow the learners’psychological gap in the virtual experiment, chapter four chooses the case of collegeengineering course,“optical comparator to measure the smooth limit gaugeâ€, forresearch use, and applies the usage of specific methods in the strategy to the virtualexperiment.According to researching on theories and specific case, with the dialecticalthinking about the phenomenon of the psychological gap from the philosophicalperspective, chapter five makes a summary about the whole study, rethinksprofoundly and prospects for the following research. |
